Leandra Rhodes-Dicker
Dr Leandra Rhodes-Dicker (she/her) is a cross-disciplinary engineer and international development practitioner. She has 10 years of experience in environmental engineering, water management, and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), with expertise in gender equality, disability, and social inclusion (GEDSI), participatory approaches, and other transformative approaches (e.g. intersectional approaches, decolonising approaches). Leandra has worked on technical research and development; social research and engagement; monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL); and capacity building projects. She has also worked across North America, Europe, East Africa, South-East Asia, and the Pacific with a number of research institutions, private sector organisations, and international NGOs.
In addition to her consulting work, Leandra is a facilitator and educator, bringing her practical experience and specialisations to teach urban systems, urban planning, international development fundamentals, nature-based solutions (NbS), and ecohydrology to engineering undergraduates. She holds a PhD from RMIT University in Melbourne, as well as a MASc and BSc from Canada.
